DESCRIPTION OF INTERESTS

I am currently collecting and collating information on the internet that is useful in the health sciences, in general, and in pharmacology, in particular. A result of this effort is two web sites. the URLs are:

the general list
www.smbs.buffalo.edu/medicine/medlist
the pharmacology list
www.smbs.buffalo.edu/medicine/pharmlist

In addition, I have developed software that converts the files for these web sites to PC files that can be read from the hard disc of a PC by a web browser. Having the files of a PC means that the user has faster access to the files and the user can modify the files at will.

Mr. Donald Walker and I developed the Pharmacology Department's web site which includes the individual sites of most of the faculty members such as the one you are now looking at.

I am the Associate Director of a public relations activity of the medical school called the MiniMedical School. The MiniMedical School presents series of lectures to the general public where each lecture is like a course presented to the medical students in the real medical school. In addition to my various duties for the MiniMedical School I developed its
web site: www.smbs.buffalo.edu/medicine/minimed
